Report templates: three ways in
Use the built-in design, tag your own Word template, or send it to us.
Video walkthrough coming soon. The written steps below cover everything.
Reports generate as Word documents from templates. There are three paths, and most firms start on the first:
1. The built-in design
Ready immediately: covers every report type (standard, vacant land, as-if-complete, progress, completion, confirmation, insurance, plus graduate variants), prints your logo and details, and recolours to your primary colour. Nothing to set up.
2. Tag your own Word template
- Open Settings > Templates & data and download the tag reference (and the starter template if you want a working example).
- In your own Word document, place tags like {job_number} and {market_value} where the job’s data should appear.
- Upload it. Every upload is checked instantly: tags the app cannot fill are listed with a “did you mean” suggestion, and loop mistakes are caught before they can break a report.
- Use Test render to fill your template with your most recent job’s real data and check the output in Word.
- On any job’s Report tab, pick your template under Your uploaded templates.
3. Send it to us
Email your current template to support@valoremvaluation.co.nz and we tag and load it for you, free. Most templates are back within two working days.
Tip. The coverage table at the bottom of the Templates card shows exactly which template each report type will use, including graduate variants.
